Rubber injection molding: select the machine around the part

Start with the rubber compound, part drawing and mould. Compare the SE and ET vertical series with the W horizontal series, then review injection capacity, mould space and demoulding requirements for the selected model.

SE series · Vertical rubber injection machines

Explore SE configurations around your mould, injection unit and handling requirements. Available options depend on the selected model; a series name does not define every machine configuration.

ET series · Vertical rubber injection machines

ET provides a vertical machine selection path. Review the standard injection volume of the chosen model and its available configuration, rather than assuming that SE options also apply to ET.

W series · Horizontal rubber injection machines

Review a horizontal layout when the mould opening direction, part release and downstream handling call for it. Demoulding and automation options must be matched to the model, mould and compound.

What to confirm before choosing a machine

  • Part drawing, dimensions, compound, hardness and any inserts.
  • Mould dimensions, cavities, installation interfaces and opening clearance.
  • Required shot volume, including runners, and the production target.
  • Demoulding method, cold runner requirements, utilities and delivery destination.

Injection, mould handling and demoulding

Shuttle tables, mould slides, brush demoulding and other handling arrangements address different process needs. Check the available options for the selected machine; an illustration does not confirm compatibility.

Standard equipment, optional equipment and custom engineering are different scopes. Final specifications and performance criteria are confirmed in the applicable quotation and technical agreement.
